THE NDUAGUIBES IN 2016

The year found us living in our new home in South Berwick. We were previously living with Joni, my sister-in-law and Tamari’s sister, but moved into our current house in August 2015. At the moment, Joni is in the process of selling her house, and has moved in with us until she secures a smaller house for herself.  In addition, we have Julie, a cousin of mine from Nigeria, visiting with us.  We are doing well by God’s grace.

Happy Birthday Tamari!

Chikacha graduated from high school and gained admission into the University of Maine, Orono. He is studying Biotechnology Engineering, but also seems to have some special interest in Chemical Engineering.  He is doing well, and apparently the advanced placement courses he took in the high school are paying off, helping him to cope with the work at the university.

Flashback - Alex's Senior Year.
Alex is doing well as well.  He is in his second year.  He is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was able to secure an engineering internship with the Capital Project unit at Lonza Biologics, Portsmouth this past summer.  The unit also offered him the opportunity to continue his internship during their current Christmas break. It has been a great experience for him, working with established engineers in the field.  This is the company that I work for.  I have been with Lonza since June 2014.

CHIKA EARNS HIS HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA

On Friday June 3rd, 2016, Chikacha graduated from Marshwood High School in South Berwick, Maine, U.S.A.  The ceremony was well attended and the weather was wonderful.  During his junior and senior years, Chika served as the class president among other achievements.

It is amazing to see how time flies.  Just yesterday, it seems, Chika was a little boy drinking from his baby bottle, but today has successfully completed his high school education.  He has been admitted into the University of Maine, where he will be studying Biomedical Engineering.

Congratulations Kacha!
