SUMMER 2011 IN MAINE, U.S.A

The boys had fun at the Chicorua pool.
We spent our summer 2011 vacation in Maine, U.S.A.  It was a wonderful time.  We arrived in mid June and a few days later, went camping with the Mcarthys.  We camped at the Chicorua Camping Village, a place that had many conveniences for some of us who are not serious campers.  The have good bathrooms, a tuck shop, game room, and even a swimming pool.  The Mcarthys brought a huge camper vehicle and two boats with them.  We took many rides and went fishing in the Chicorua river.  We had many meals together and shared quite some fun time.

Our local church family, Christian Life Church (CLC), was very gracious.  We are always ncouraged by that church family.  They accepted us as though we had never been out of the country.  Yet we had been gone for two years.

Back from camping,  we spent the rest of the time with Joni.  There were many household parties, some hosted by us, others hosted by our friends.  The Mcarthys and the Wengerts had us over a number of times.  Also, we were invited to a Hawaiian Luau hosted by Sheila and Tom in Rochester, New Hampshire.  In addition, Alex and Chika had a number of sleepovers with their friends.

We are back to Hong Kong now and have started the new school year.  In fact, the first quarter just ended last week and we have now enter into the second quarter of the first semester.  We are well.
